The Lord provides for those in need
God's love endures forever.
Confession:
Loving Provider, we confess our sins today. We share out loud and in our hearts the sins of the world and our personal sins. We confess that we put ourselves above and before others; we fail to see the hurt, pain and need around us. We fail to lift fingers for the injustices we witness daily. We profess that we are your servant and yet too often we let others serve us. Forgive us Loving Creator and give us the courage to follow your will. Help us to embody a servant of God in the world. Work in us to show your love to the world around us...(assurance of pardon) Amen.
Prayer of illumination:
Loving Spirit descend into this worship and provide for us the wisdom to understand your will. Move your Spirit in my heart and in this congregation so that your will may provide guidance in our life. Amen
Dedication:
Loving Provider, guide us to use our gifts to better this congregation, this community and this world. You have provided so much to us and help us to use our talents and money to equip this congregation for the future to continue to show God's love. Amen
